A New Person?

"A New Person?" is an interactive, audience-driven project that encourages participants to open a communication channel with another person within the exhibition space. The participant will be able to pick the communication channel they prefer, including Twitter, Instagram, email, or even snail mail.
The purpose of this project is to create a dialogue between two strangers, which is to say we "fill the gap" between two people by giving them the space to communicate. The project is made up of two main components, the information card and the box. The following is a breakdown of the participation process:
- The participant will fill in the information card, including their name and preferred communication tool.
- They will then place the card into the box.
- The participant will then open the box, and pick the card of another person to communicate with.
- The important rule in this process is that, in order for the person to pick a card, they must fill one of their own first.
