I worked as the creative director for the Corniche 2019 Comic Anthology, a 202-page paperback published by Sharjah Art Foundation in both English and Arabic. The book features a vibrant collection of comics that highlight diverse voices in the region.
As part of its annual programming, the Publications department at Sharjah Art Foundation organizes the FOCAL POINT art book fair. This fair stands out by providing a platform for independent publishers from around the world, with a focus on the MEASA region and the Global South. By bringing together established and emerging initiatives in a dynamic three-day format, the fair aims to spark new conversations and collaborations while promoting the dissemination of media that often doesn't reach UAE audiences through conventional channels.
Leading up to the fair and throughout the event, the Foundation’s Learning department offers free workshops and learning opportunities for various age groups and skill levels. Each year, the content is designed to reflect the themes of the fair.
